I want to thank my neighbor Justin for pointing this great artist out to me.
I am a fan of RSS, have been posting about it for a while.. It saves me lots of time and energy. Anytime I find a great little article that explains what RSS is I just have to bookmark it (because I know I will meet other people in the future who don't get it yet) and post about it (because it is good).
This is both a great explanation of RSS and a great format for explaining topics. I plan on watching more of stuff they have produced soon.

Jars of Clay has at least promoted, if not put together, this video that was filmed by fans with their cell phone cameras and other armature cameras.
It is great to see a band encourage their fans involvement in their work ... at the same time many bands will not allow a camera with a removable lens in their concert, these guys have created a number more loyal fans.
As far as the video itself, there is some good visuals. I think I understand why they did the cuts as quickly as they did, but it makes the video less enjoyable, almost unwatchable, for me. It also shows how poor a video shot on a camraphone really is and why the record industry should not be worried about armature video taking away sells of their tickets or songs, in the end the fans go to the show for the experiance, not just to hear a music.

This is an example of modern advertising that works, or at least is much better then what most advertising does. A company can spend millions on an ad campaign on TV or much less on a professional who understands podcasting and will help them produce great clips like this that conveys the message they want to send out and will actually be watched.
